Neil R McAdam

A speculative fiction story that spans nearly five thousand years of human development.

Apart from being a galaxy-spanning tale of survival, the novel explores our fractured relationship with nature, and the possibilities of fixing it. It questions whether faith hindered or assisted humanity, and will Artificial Intelligence be our saviour or destroyer?

Neil R McAdam

I am a Scottish 60-year-old IT Support Manager based currently in Findhorn on the Moray Firth. My wife and I travelled a lot in our twenties and thirties, and the wanderlust seems be rearing its head again. Who knows where next.

This is my debut novel, and I would love to sail off into the sunset writing for fun.

I consider myself from Ayr, where my formative years were spent. In fact, I grew up just a few hundred yards from the Alloway birthplace of Robert Burns, our greatest bard.

Maybe there was something in the water.

I often wrote daft poetry in the style of Burns every January 25th for Burns’ night, the second most important evening in the Scottish calendar!

I also played around with the guitar for years at one time having the ambition to start a band. This never really happened, though I wrote a few songs.
